Fall. My favorite time of year.

There is something about fall that I can never get enough of.  All year long I look forward to fall.  I love the  cool weather, pumkins, crunching leaves and the wardrobe change after a long hot summer.

Septemeber brought us a sweet visitor, Auntie Sue (and we got to keep her for a whole week)!  She and Mom were on the go but I was able to squeeze in a few days of fun with my favorite ladies.

Broken Bow

At the end of August Aaron surprised me with a weekend getaway to Broken Bow, OK.  Typically, we visit Broken Bow with friends but this trip was just for us.  We had a perfect weekend, so much so, that I didn't want to come home!  Kaiser joined us for his very first 'vacation'.  Our weekend consisted of grilling, playing cards, sipping coffee on the beautiful wrap around porch and swimming at Beavers Bend Lake.  Kaiser's trip consisted of chewing branches, exploring the woods and swimming his heart out at the lake.  

I made Aaron promise to take me back to this cabin once a year.  Beautiful and peaceful.

 

 

Seattle Times

 

We beat the Texas heat at the end of June in Vancouver, BC and then headed down to visit family in Washington for the week of July 4th.  As always, we had a great time with family.
